New funding supports a safer Cardinia

The Cardinia Civic Concert Band will receive funding of $3,600 for a new crime prevention project that will support a safer community.

Minister for Crime Prevention Edward O’Donohue, visiting the band with Liberal candidate for Bass Brian Paynter, said the funding has been awarded through the latest round of the Victorian Coalition Government’s Community Safety Fund grants.

Mr O’Donohue said that the Coalition Government was enabling communities like Cardinia to fund local crime prevention initiatives that deliver safer, more connected communities.
