The band has recently returned from its second international concert tour. In April, forty of our members jetted off to Germany and the Czech Republic for three weeks of concerts and sightseeing. The band performed with three other bands while away including Winderwek in Berlin, Jugenbrass in Leipzig and Františka Kmocha in Kolin. The tour included tracing the steps of famous composers such as Dvorak, Wagner, Bach and Schumann and a guided tour of the amazing Berline Philharmonic Concert Hall and the UNESCO World Heritage listed Margravial Opera House. We also visited many major landmarks and historical sites including the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg gate and Potsdam to name a few. We are very excited to hopefully be hosting Jugenbrass here in Australia in the near future!
